For those of you that don't already know, it seems as though I have spent the last two years battling one illness after another.
I think it's honorable to praise God through the storm and not ask for Him to get us out of every difficult situation that we find ourselves in. However, recently God has brought healing into my life and changed my direction.
A few months ago my prayer was that God would show me where He could best use me. My initial thought was that God would lead me to a small group at church, a certain college, or maybe even a local outreach opportunity. Before I saw this video, I never felt like overseas missions was for me. I just didn't feel "called." Little did I know that He would be opening doors for me to spend some time in Haiti...
